Free Speech and Hypocrisy on Lloydletta

Take a look at this snapshot of hypocrisy from Lloydletta's blog:

Can you spot the hypocrisy?

Here's a hint: the original post was a rant by K*n Av^d*r slamming some politicians for restricting free speech "on the internet (sic) and on television"

But, as the snapshot shows, if I go into the comments section of that very same post, I get this message in bold lettering:

Banned by webmaster. Your comments will not be added

Even more hilarious, Eva herself chimes in with this comment:

"Samuels and Rybak are first amendment challenged"

Eva calling someone else first amendment challenged! How deliciously ironic!

You see, Av^d*r has banned me from adding comments on Lloydletta, and Eva has apparently upheld the ban. The reasons they cite are vague, but I bet it has something to do with the fact that I was posting stuff they would rather you didn't know. (More on this in a later post.)

If I were able to post a comment on this Lloydletta forum, I might point that, in fact, the Lloydletta comments section is part of the same Internet that you seem to be defending! Why do you not hold yourselves to the same standards as "Samuels and Rybak"? How can you justify banning (and deleting) comments which you don't agree with? Is this your idea of free speech?

Talk about "first amendment challenged"...

Notice in the Spot comment thread that Eva ducks the issue of how Avibore uses his alternate identity(ies), she does not address that his claims are demonstrably false, illogical/disconnected or ad hominem, nor that he uses Luddington to create the illusion of third-party endorsement.

Apparently all she cares about is that he is a volunteer.

In addition, she admits that Avisnore kept his Ned puppet secret from her, even after he joined Lloydletta. Surely she can't feel good about that.

And she writes, "He is now "out" about that fact." NOW??? When did he tell her the truth? When you began pressing her on the sockpuppet issue?

Another irony is that Lloydletta slams others for not allowing comments, such as the Twins Ballpark blog.

Better a sock puppet than a meat puppet.

But no, I ain't Avidor.

Actually, perhaps YOU are Avidor, using this meat puppet guise to further his own agenda of rightly ending the PRT scam that wastes so many ticks of the clock while the planet hurtles towards oblivion.

See, Atren or Stimpy or whomever you choose to be this week, you would be fucking hypocritical to jump all over Luddington when you play games routinely with your own identity. But It's all a game anyway, isn't it Mr. Grant? Or are you all the same person? THAT'S SO FUNNY. You guy(s) are a stitch!

Meanwhile, back to internet poker for me.

I am not Avidor. Nor am I Mr. Grant. Nor am I "Stimpy" (??). Nor do I have any other identity on any blog or forum relating to these matters.

Oh come on: Subcommandante Less Than Zero is obviously Overbore! He hits all the big talking points: no PRT system, PRT is wasting time we could use to save the PLANET (!), Avisnore self-praise, Google rankings, and, finally, the real names/identities of ATE and yours truly.

New wrinkle though--the expletives. Way to innovate your vocabulary, K@n!

You're probably right, but does it really matter either way?

Really, what's the difference between an Av^d*r disciple and an Av^d*r sock puppet?

(answer: on average, about 150 lbs of flesh, which is the weight of a typical human being, minus brain)

I wonder if J'idor is also opposed to new bicycle technology:

10-sprocket cassettes
carbon-fiber frames and lugs
dual-control levers
LED lights

Aren't these all unnecessary wastes of resources? Three speeds ought to be good enough! Heavy, American steel! Separate brake and shift levers are PROVEN technology! And what about generator-powered headlamps with screw-in bulbs???

All this emphasis on biking decreases light rail ridership!
